The Black Flower.

If there is a party in your heart, then check out the black flower in Raleigh, NC some time. It is a small bar with a lot of personality. Today they had an event called the dark circus at which there was much merriment and Lolita-goth attire. Upon walking in your senses are taken by the smells of incense and strong fruits. The astute greeter asks you for Valid Identification in a warm voice that is loud enough to be heard over the macabre rock-music being played over the speakers. you take a few steps in and see the painted happy face of the happy face painter sitting there with tools in hand (ready to brush gently across your skin in the spirit of a themed circus of darkness). After Taking a few more steps into the art clad building, the mysticism of the next table pulls you in (if only for a moment). A fortune teller sits there with a coy and knowing grin, her spread of modern art gracing the table. When you have stepped past deeper still into the veils of black roses, you see lit colors of all sorts; Bacardi torched cherry in all its red bliss, Bacardi limon in a twirl of lemon tart, Bacardi superior in its silver simplicity… and many other glass towers of fiery goodness… just out of reach (the flower girls will pass some your way for $$). You have now reached the end of the bar… But wait, There’s more!! Turn back around and walk back past the Gothic soothsayer to find a Tiger in a cage and a kissing booth!! Truly a night I will remember.

Moving on…

My cat says hi :-D no, really, he just trotted up to the computer screen and waved his happy paw!

Anyone for some more of my cooking?? I made some leftovers… some hand-me-downs… and some old boxed deliciousness, come on by. (-:

First off was hamburger helper. I fried some chopped up pork loin, added some pre-cooked wild rice, added a box of hamburger helper (Maybe I should have taken stuff out the box first… whatever **shrugs**), and finally some water and milk. (simmered it for 50 minutes on low)

Then I made un-frozen hash-browns on the side.

Merrreeeooooowww?????

A; wonderful, silly, charming, caffeinated, curious, equilibrius, and very well rounded cat has had a very (very, very, very, very) busy and stressful past many days.

First, his bonkers grandpa came back into his life after over a year of not walking through the mystic front portal. Thoths grandpa gave his son (Thoths daddy) a set of double hammers that are designed to hold a pint of liquid each. then he gave his other son (Thoths uncle) a brand new set of feet… but he took away the Tasmanian devil that Thoth has defeated oh so many times. **kitty pout**

Over the next two days Thoths daddy went away first with his father on the day of frying, and his mother on the day of sitting.

On the day of frying they went off to listen to a band play made of blue grasses, and tried to ‘get slammed’. and on the day of sitting they went to spend time with picture takers and potters, then furniture makers and clothing consignees. (and they said something about the moon dancing across the sky **curious kitty face**)

Then on the day of the sun Thoths daddy and his daddy stayed home while everyone else went to ‘praise Jesus’. Thoths grandpa made two meals that day that a cat cant eat… and Thoth lost all hope to get any present from his granddad when he left again on the day of nomming.

Get That Off!

PRODUCT PLACEMENT: I suggest two places to eat for a buffet: Golden corral and Jumbo china. (@ my friend in india, the closest GC to you is in downtown Tiruchirapalli)

So, I applied at Hot Topic, which is the direct competitor of Obsidian clothing… ironic ain’t it. send me good ju-ju about that. I’ll also add that my netbook was very helpful in getting my application in, acer rocks.

I revisited my childhood. My mom took me to raleighwood theatre many times as a kid and we loved the atmosphere, yesterday I went to see How to tame your Dragon there on a date, and its still got it. :-D (the date part was ok too. my date expected me to be the only interesting one… but i wanted to get to know her as well! **shrugs**)

Lastly, my cat has this amazing collar that i made myself. it has taken some getting used to (for him) and today I had to shorten it almost an inch. I laughed loudly while putting it on and said maniacally “HAHAHAHAHA, lets see you Get That Off!!!”
