Taste Requires the least amount of energy of all 7 senses, that is why it is the first on my list.
When something touches your tongue, the acid or base that make up the food go to work immediately. A food with high acid tastes sour right away and will burn your sensors lightly. A food with high base will be bitter and slippery. when a food ages the acid and base will separate and cause the complexity of the food to increase.
